LINEリニューアル VOOMからショッピングへ切替開始
LINEヤフーは8日、「LINE」アプリのリニューアル開始を発表した。動画サービスの「LINE VOOM」タブを「ショッピング」タブに順次刷新していく。一部のLINEアカウントから下部メニューの「VOOM」が「ショッピング」に切り替わる。

従来はホーム・トーク・VOOM・ニュース・ウォレットの5つのタブだったが、9月以降「VOOM」が「ショッピング」に刷新され、EC対応を強化する。新たなショッピングタブは、「LINEコマース」のポータルとなり、LINEギフトとレコメンド型の新「LINEショッピング」(自己購入)で商品を購入できる。
LINE VOOMは引き続き [ホーム]＞[サービス]から利用できるが、カメラ機能、テーマ機能、ハッシュタグ検索機能は利用できなくなる。今後もリニューアルに伴い、一部の機能のアクセス方法や表示位置が変更される予定。
8月の決算発表時に予告していたLINEのリニューアルがスタートした。VOOMからショッピングへの切り替え後は、「ウォレット」タブを刷新。ミニアプリにフォーカスしたUI/UXとなり、様々なミニアプリ経由のサービスの導線として機能する。ウォレットタブは段階的に機能リリースし、2025年度下期以降はその他のタブも機能を刷新していく計画。
