楽天市場は、AIがパーソナルカラーや肌の状態、顔の輪郭を診断し、ユーザーに適したリップやアイシャドウなどのコスメを提案する「ビューティ アドバイザー」の提供を開始した。

スマホのカメラとAIで診断したユーザーのパーソナルカラーや肌の状態、顔の輪郭などのデータと、ユーザーが登録したプロフィールデータを基に、1人1人に適したコスメを提案するコンテンツ。利用料は無料だが、楽天が運営する美容メディアサイト「RAXY」の会員登録が必要となる。
データには、コスメ・美容プラットフォーム「LIPS」に蓄積された商品の評価やクチコミデータと、診断時の季節やトレンドを反映した情報を活用する。楽天市場に出店する約170のコスメブランド公式ショップの中から、ユーザーに合ったメイクアップやスキンケア商品を提案する。
