御嶽山噴火から11年 追悼式で犠牲者に祈り 戦後最悪の火山災害
死者・行方不明者が63人にのぼった長野と岐阜の県境にある御嶽山の噴火から、27日で11年です。ふもとの長野県王滝村では追悼式が行われ、遺族などが噴火が起きた時刻に合わせて犠牲者に祈りをささげました。
2014年9月27日に起きた御嶽山の噴火では、58人が死亡、5人が行方不明となり、戦後最悪の火山災害となりました。
噴火から11年となる27日、ふもとの王滝村では地元の自治体による追悼式が行われています。
遺族などは、噴火が起きた時刻と同じ午前11時52分に、犠牲者の名前が刻まれた慰霊碑と御嶽山に向かって祈りをささげるとともに、教訓を伝え続けることへの誓いを新たにしました。
王滝村では安全対策を進めながら御嶽山を中心とした観光振興の取り組みも続けていて、噴火から11年が経過するなか、災害直後に減少した村を訪れる登山者は増加傾向にあります。
一方で、遺族などはさらなる避難施設の設置などを求めていて、再び噴火による犠牲者を出さないための具体的な取り組みを進めていくことが課題となっています。
