NURO光、マンション10ギガを24都道府県で提供へ 新プランも
ソニーネットワークコミュニケーションズは、高速光回線サービス「NURO 光」の集合住宅向けサービス「NURO 光 for マンション」において、今夏以降に新プランを提供する。10ギガサービスの普及を目的としたもの。10月1日以降は、既存の「NURO 光 for マンション」の月額基本料金も変更される。

■ 新プラン
今夏以降、集合住宅向けの新プランとして「NURO 光 2ギガ(マンション)」と「NURO 光 10ギガ(マンション)」が新設される。
月額基本料金は「NURO 光 2ギガ(マンション)」が3,850円、「NURO 光 10ギガ(マンション)」が4,400円。契約期間の設定や更新の必要がなく、シンプルな一律価格になる。
これまで「NURO 光 for マンション」は東北エリア(宮城・福島・山形)で提供されていたが、新プランの提供により、上り/下り最大10Gbpsのサービスが24都道府県で利用可能になる。
拡大されるマンション向けの10ギガ提供エリアは、北海道、宮城、福島、山形、東京、神奈川、埼玉、千葉、茨城、栃木、群馬、愛知、静岡、岐阜、三重、京都、大阪、兵庫、滋賀、奈良、広島、岡山、福岡、佐賀の一部エリア。
ユーザーの自宅に設置するルーター一体型のONU(回線終端装置)はソニー製になり、利便性が向上するとしている。
また、これまで「NURO 光 for マンション」の設備が導入されていない集合住宅では戸建てプランの「NURO 光」(月額基本料金が2ギガで5,200円、10ギガで5,700円)を選択する必要があったが、今後は、新規で申し込むユーザーを対象に上記の新プランが適用され、従来よりお得に利用できるとしている。
■ コスト高騰で既存プラン値上げ
昨今の部材価格の高騰や人件費・設備導入費用の上昇を受けて、既存の「NURO 光 for マンション 2 ギガ」、「NURO 光 for マンション 10 ギガ」をはじめ、対象の10種類のプランの月額基本料金が一律で450円、値上げされる。変更は10月1日。現在契約しているユーザーも値上げの対象。
「NURO 光」では、2023年度に前年度比約2倍で過去最大という規模のネットワーク設備の増強を実施。価格変更後も、快適な通信環境と、わかりやすく使いやすいサービスを業界最安値水準で提供していくとしている。
