「ソラキュー」と「SLIM」がミニカーに タカラトミー
タカラトミーは、ダイキャスト製ミニカーシリーズ「トミカプレミアム」から、「トミカプレミアム SORA-Q &SLIM」の予約受付を、2024年4月23日～5月31日までトミカ専門店「トミカショップ」、タカラトミー公式ショッピングサイト「タカラトミーモール」で開始する。価格は2,750円。日本初の月面着陸1周年となる2025年1月20日に受注生産で発売する。

超小型の変形型月面探査ロボット「LEV-2」(愛称「SORA-Q(ソラキュー)」)と小型月着陸実証機「SLIM」の2機セットに、月面をイメージした台座が付属する。
「SORA-Q」(トミカプレミアム)は、1/2.5スケールで変形後の形状で製品化。変形はできない。飾るだけでなく、動かして遊べるのも特長で、両輪、カメラ、尻尾のようなスタビライザーの3カ所が可動。手動で「バタフライ走行」の動きを楽しめる。
「SLIM」(トミカプレミアム)は1/40スケールで、「SLIM」の特徴的な外観形状やソーラーパネル、表面の質感などを可能な限り表現している。
なお、本商品は宇宙航空の魅力を地上の生活へ届けるためのブランド「JAXA LABEL DESIGN」付与商品として発売される。
「SORA-Q」は、タカラトミーがJAXA、ソニーグループ、同志社大学と共同で開発した超小型の変形型月面探査ロボット。2024年1月20日に日本初の月面着陸と月面の撮影に成功し、世界最小・最軽量の月面探査ロボットとなった。
■ SLIMは現在も稼働中
SLIMは、将来の月惑星探査に必要な高精度着陸技術を実証する小型探査機。「SORA-Q」(LEV-2)と超小型月面探査ローバ「LEV-1」を月面まで運び、SLIM自身も多数の観測機器によって月面探査を実施した。
当初は気温-170度に達する極寒の月の夜の影響で内部が破損し、停止することが予想されたが、1月20日の着陸以降、3度の夜を迎えても動作を継続していることが確認された。4月23日には3度目の起動とともに再び写真撮影を行ない地球に送信している。月面の昼夜はそれぞれ約2週間続くが、SLIMの着陸姿勢の影響で、SLIMのソーラーパネルの動作が可能なのは太陽が傾いて沈む直前の月における夕方のみ。このため、SLIMが機能するのは月に一回の僅かな時間に限られている。
昨晩(4/23 夜)、再び起動した #SLIM と通信することに成功し、SLIMが３回目の越夜を達成したことを確認しました。早速航法カメラにて撮影した昨晩の月面の様子がこちらです。越夜後としてはこれまでで最も早い月齢での撮影のため、全体的に明るく影が非常に短くなっています。 #JAXA #たのしむーん pic.twitter.com/U0f88xNK9S
