NEDO、生成AIサービス開発に懸賞金「GENIAC-PRIZE」 総額8億円
経済産業省とNEDOは、生成AIの社会実装を目的とした生成AIサービスの開発を促進する懸賞金活用型プロジェクト「GENIAC-PRIZE」を開始する。懸賞金総額は約8億円。
経済産業省では2024年2月に、生成AIの開発力強化に向けたプロジェクト「GENIAC」を立ち上げ、AI開発者への計算資源の調達支援や、知見共有のためのコミュニティの運営等を行なっている。しかし、生成AIをとりまく世界的な競争は激しさを増していることから、生成AIの開発力強化と利活用促進を一体的に進めることが重要になっている。
GENIAC-PRIZEでは、生成AIによる解決が望まれる4テーマそれぞれに即した具体的なニーズに基づく生成AIサービスを開発して応募してもらい、審査の後に成果に応じた懸賞金を授与する。これにより、様々な地域や業種における企業等による生成AIサービスの開発と実導入を促進する。
4つのテーマは下記の通り。懸賞金は総額8億円で、4テーマの合計額となる。
・製造業における暗黙知の形式知化
・カスタマーサポートの生産性向上
・官公庁における審査業務(特許審査業務をモデルとする)の効率化
・安全性向上に資する技術開発
