iPhone 17シリーズ登場 新型「Air」は最薄5.6mm
アップルは9日(現地時間)、「iPhone 17」シリーズを発表した。ラインアップは「iPhone 17」「iPhone 17 Pro」「iPhone 17 Pro Max」、そして新たに登場した薄型軽量モデル「iPhone Air」の4モデル構成。いずれも12日から予約を開始し、19日に発売する。価格はiPhone 17が129,800円～、iPhone 17 Proが179,800円～、iPhone Airが159,800円～。

■ シリーズ最薄の「iPhone Air」
iPhone Airは、シリーズ最薄となる5.6mmの筐体厚を実現した。前面はiPhone 17と同様のCeramic Shield 2を、背面にはCeramic Shieldを採用する。
ディスプレイは6.5型のSuper Retina XDRで、ProMotionに対応し最大120Hz駆動を実現。ピーク輝度は3,000ニト。
チップは「A19 Pro」を搭載。6コアのCPUと5コアのGPUを備え、前世代と比較して最大3倍のグラフィック性能を実現する。
カメラは48MPのフュージョンカメラを搭載。メインレンズは28mmと35mmの焦点距離に対応し、幅広い撮影スタイルに適応する。センサーには2.0μmのクアッドピクセル構造を採用し、低照度環境でも高い描写力を発揮する。
前面カメラは18MPで、センターステージに対応。被写体を自動で追尾するフレーミング機能を備えるほか、撮影後に深度情報を活用してポートレートに変換することも可能。
2倍望遠撮影時には、フォトニックエンジンによる機械学習を活用し、より写実的なディテールと自然な色彩を実現する。
eSIMオンリー設計で、日本モデルでは物理SIMに非対応。新型MagSafeバッテリーと併用することで最大40時間の動画再生に対応する。サイズ/重量は156.2×74.7×5.64mm/165g。カラーはスペースブラック、クラウドホワイト、ライトゴールド、スカイブルーの4色。容量/価格は256GB/159,800円、512GB/194,800円、1TB/229,800円。
■ 望遠強化の「iPhone 17 Pro/Pro Max」
iPhone 17 ProとPro Maxは、6.3型および6.9型のSuper Retina XDRディスプレイをそれぞれ搭載。どちらもProMotionによる120Hz駆動、最大3,000ニトのピーク輝度に対応する。筐体素材にはCeramic Shield 2を採用する。
チップは「A19 Pro」を搭載。iPhone Airにも同チップが搭載されているが、Proモデルではコア構成が異なる。Airは6コアCPUと5コアGPUを採用しているのに対し、本モデルはCPU・GPUともに6コア構成となっている。
A19 Proから放出される発熱を処理するための内部構造も刷新。新設計したベイパーチャンバーには脱イオン水を密閉した構造で、A19 Proの発熱を効率的にアルミニウム製ユニボディに伝え、システム全体に均一に熱を分散する。これにより、パフォーマンスと発熱のバランスを高めつつ、快適な操作性を実現する。
ユニボディ設計によりバッテリー容量も拡大され、iOS 26とA19 Proの電力効率とあわせてシリーズ最長のバッテリー駆動を達成。最大50W対応のUSB-C電源アダプター使用時は、20分で最大60%の急速充電が可能。
カメラはPro/Pro Max共通で、48MPのフュージョンカメラ、48MPの超広角、望遠(光学2倍・8倍)の3眼構成。特に望遠カメラは前世代よりも56%大きなセンサーを採用。さらにiPhone史上最大の8倍光学ズームにも対応。フォーカスコントロールにより、撮影後にポートレート写真に変換も可能とする。前面カメラは18MPで、センターステージ対応。自動フレーミングや回転補正にも対応する。
サイズ/重量はProが150×71.9×8.75mm、206g。Pro Maxが163.4×78×8.75mm、233g。Wi-Fi 7、Bluetooth 6、eSIM(日本モデルでは、物理SIM非対応)をサポートする。カラーはシルバー、コズミックオレンジ、ディープブルーの3色。
容量/価格はProが256GB/179,800円、512GB/214,800円、1TB/249,800円。Pro Maxが256GB/194,800円、512GB/229,800円、1TB/264,800円、2TB/329,800円。
■ ProMotionディスプレイ搭載「iPhone 17」
iPhone 17は、6.3型のProMotionを備えたSuper Retina XDRを搭載。最大120Hzのリフレッシュレートに対応し、ピーク輝度は3,000ニト。筐体には「Ceramic Shield 2」を採用し、耐傷性を従来比3倍に高めた。プロセッサには3nmプロセスの「A19」チップを採用し、Neural Engineと5コアGPUを内蔵する。
バッテリー駆動時間はiPhone 16よりも8時間長い最大30時間のビデオ再生を実現。iOS 26で利用できるアダプティブ パワーモードでバッテリーの消費量を予測して、バッテリー消費を抑えるのに貢献するとしている。さらに、最大40Wの急速充電に対応し、20分で最大50%まで充電可能。
背面カメラは48MPのメインと2倍ズームのテレフォトに加え、超広角カメラを12MPから48MPに強化。前面カメラはセンターステージに対応した18MPとなり、自動フレーミングや回転補正などに対応する。
サイズ/重量は149.6×71.5×7.95mm/177g。Wi-Fi 7、Bluetooth 6、eSIM(日本モデルでは、物理SIM非対応)をサポートする。カラーはラベンダー、セージ、ミストブルー、ホワイト、ブラックの5色。容量/価格は256GB/129,800円、512GB/164,800円。
