ゴマフアザラシの赤ちゃん 白いうぶ毛で覆われた姿 青森
青森市の浅虫水族館で、2年ぶりにゴマフアザラシの赤ちゃんが生まれ、白いうぶ毛で覆われた愛くるしい姿を見せています。
青森市の浅虫水族館では、4月28日に2年ぶりとなるゴマフアザラシの赤ちゃんが生まれ、体長およそ100センチ、体重は22キロ余りと順調に成長しています。
赤ちゃんは、15年前に六ヶ所村の海岸で保護されたメスの「メイ」と、12年前から福島県いわき市の水族館から借り受けているオスの「きぼう」の子どもです。
白いうぶ毛に覆われた赤ちゃんは、母親の「メイ」に寄り添ったり母乳を飲んだりして愛くるしい姿を見せ、訪れた人たちを楽しませていました。
浅虫水族館によりますと、赤ちゃんの白いうぶ毛はあと1週間ほどで生え替わり、ごま模様があらわれるということです。
水族館を訪れていた4歳の女の子は「赤ちゃんを初めて見た。顔がかわいかった」と話していました。
飼育員の加藤愛さんは「毎日体重が増えて順調に成長している。あと1週間するとだいぶごま模様が見えてくるので、今しか見られないかわいい姿を見てほしい」と話していました。
