ヤマト、ドラレコ4.6万台刷新 運転状況を可視化
ヤマト運輸は、全国約46,000台の集配車両に搭載されているドライブレコーダーを、10月1日から順次刷新する。セールスドライバーの安全意識と運転技術の向上を目的としたもので、運転中の映像がタブレットなどで随時確認できるようになり、1日の運転状況はレーダーチャートとして運転日報に可視化される。

新型のドライブレコーダーは、急アクセルや急ブレーキなどの操作を検知すると音声で注意喚起し、その際の映像を自動的にクラウドにアップロードし、運転日報に記録する。カメラは車外と車内の両方に対応し、外向きカメラは速度標識や一時停止標識を読み取り、速度超過や一時不停止を記録する。内向きカメラはドライバーの顔の動きから眠気の兆候を検知する。
運転時の映像は指定動作時に限らず、日時や走行軌跡を指定して任意に確認できる。運転日報には、一時停止遵守・危険運転・運転集中度・焦り運転・エコ運転の5指標をもとにしたレーダーチャートが表示される。過去1か月の平均値も確認でき、運転の改善状況の比較も可能。
本刷新により、ドライバーは乗務後の点呼時に映像とレーダーチャートを活用し、当日の運転を振り返ることで自身の運転特性や改善点を把握しやすくなる。指定動作の回数といった定量的な指導に加えて、当日の道路状況や挙動を踏まえた個別指導が可能となり、指導内容の納得感も高まるという。
また、管理者にとっても、これまでSDカードに保存された映像をもとに実施していた安全教育から、タブレットで随時映像を確認しながらの教育が可能となり、安全指導の質の向上が見込まれる。加えて、紙で運用していた運転日報が電子化され、タブレットでの閲覧・電子保管に対応することで、保管業務の負担軽減と法令遵守の強化につながるとしている。
