ヤフー災害マップ、被害状況の航空写真を掲載
LINEヤフーは、災害発生時にユーザーからの被害情報を確認できる「災害マップ」の新機能として、被害状況を上空から把握できる航空写真を掲載する取り組みを開始した。「Yahoo!防災速報」アプリと、「Yahoo!天気・災害」(PC版・スマートフォンブラウザー版)で提供される。

「災害マップ」は、災害の危険が迫っている時や災害時に、ユーザー同士で状況を投稿して共有したり、被害情報を可視化し確認したりできる機能。新たに、国際航業とアジア航測との連携により、両社が撮影する航空写真が大規模災害発生時に掲載されるようになる。
対象を斜め方向から捉える航空写真は、被害状況をより視覚的に理解可能。衛星写真よりも解像度が高く、実態を詳細に確認しやすいとしている。地図と合わせて確認することで広域の状況も捉えやすくなる。
