Google「かこって検索」、画面スクロール後も翻訳継続

Googleは、「かこって検索」(Circle to Search)の翻訳機能を強化する。これまでは画面をスクロールすると翻訳をやり直す必要があったが、スクロールしたり画面上のコンテンツが切り替わったりしても翻訳を継続するようになる。今週からサムスンのGalaxyシリーズで提供され、Androidスマートフォン向けに順次配信される。

アップデートにより、かこって検索の翻訳が継続的に行なえるようになった。ホームボタンかナビゲーションバーの長押しで「かこって検索」を起動し、翻訳アイコンをタップして「スクロールしながら翻訳」を押すと利用できる。ページをスクロールしたり、アプリを切り替えたりしても、画面上のテキストが翻訳され続けるようになる。
