石川県の面積 福井県を上回る 能登半島地震で海岸隆起
国土地理院は、去年1月の能登半島地震で海岸が隆起した影響などで石川県の面積が増え、都道府県別で福井県を上回って34位になったと発表しました。
国土地理院はことし7月1日時点の各都道府県の面積を調査し、26日結果を公表しました。
今回は、去年1月の能登半島地震のあとに更新された地図情報をもとに面積を測定していて、石川県は前回の調査よりも4.74平方キロメートル増加していたということです。
能登半島地震により海岸が隆起したことが主な要因で
▽輪島市で2.78平方キロメートル
▽珠洲市で1.72平方キロメートル
▽志賀町で0.24平方キロメートル
増加したということです。
これにより、石川県の面積は福井県を0.35平方キロメートル上回り、都道府県別の順位で福井県を抜いて34位になったとしています。
