浅草橋に隅田川スーパー堤防と一体整備の34階建てタワマン
浅草橋から徒歩6分の場所における「東商センタービル」マンション建替事業の工事着工を、東商センタービルマンション建替組合、および参加組合員の日鉄興和不動産、東京建物が発表した。地上34階建て、総戸数267戸の免震タワーマンションの建設が進められる。

東商センタービルは、東京都台東区柳橋二丁目に1970年に竣工した、JR中央・総武線 浅草橋駅から徒歩6分、都営浅草線 浅草橋駅から徒歩約5分の、隅田川沿いに建つ地上10階・地下1階、事務所、展示場、住宅で構成された複合ビル。老朽化と耐震不安を解消するため、2010年から建替え検討を開始した。
事業の特徴の1つとして、東京都の隅田川スーパー堤防整備事業と一体的に整備される点がある。スーパー堤防整備事業とは、治水や地震対策の強化、土地の有効利用および河川環境の向上等を目的として、耐震性の向上と水辺利用を図るテラスの整備事業のこと。東京都では大地震等に対しての安全性を高め、水辺に親しめる環境が再生されるようコンクリート堤防基礎の強化と壁面の切断、背後地の盛土などを行ない、幅の広い緩傾斜型の堤防の整備を進めており、規模の大きいものをスーパー堤防と呼んでいる。
開発では、事業地内にオープンスペースや連続する緑地を確保し、オープンスペースから隅田川の両岸に整備された遊歩道「隅田川テラス」に、居住者以外も自由に往来できる貫通通路を設置。建物内にはオープンスペース越しに隅田川を望めるにぎわい施設を配置し、地域に開放する。
所在地は東京都台東区柳橋二丁目4番2(地番)。敷地面積は2,366.65m2、高さは約120m。着工は4月22日で、竣工は2027年3月予定。
