ユニセフ アメリカが明らかにしたガザ地区での配給計画に懸念
パレスチナのガザ地区で人道状況が極めて悪化する中、アメリカはガザ地区に複数の拠点を設けて、食料などの支援物資を配給する計画を明らかにしました。現地で支援にあたる国連機関の担当者は「一部の場所でしか配給しないのであれば、そのために、住民に移動を強いることになる」と述べて懸念を示し、イスラエルに対して国連などによる支援物資の搬入を速やかに認めるよう求めました。
ガザ地区ではイスラエルが2か月以上、国連などによる支援物資の搬入を認めていないことで人道状況が極めて悪化しています。
これについて、イスラエルに駐在するアメリカのハッカビー大使は9日、人道支援団体などと連携し、ガザ地区に複数の配給拠点を開設する計画を進めていると明らかにしました。
ただ、現地で活動するユニセフ＝国連児童基金のクリックス報道官は9日、オンラインでNHKの取材に応じ「一部の場所でしか配給しないのであれば、そのために、住民に移動を強いることになる。移動が困難な、夫を亡くし子どもを持つ母親や障害のある子どもなどはどのように配給を受ければいいのか」と述べ、アメリカの計画に対し、強い懸念を表明しました。
また、現地の状況については「子どもが十分な食事をとれず栄養失調に陥っても十分な治療を受けられていない」と述べて、イスラエルに対して国連などによる物資の搬入再開を速やかに認めるよう求めました。
