熱中症で病院搬送 1週間で全国4600人余 去年同期比2倍以上に
各地で猛烈な暑さが続くなか、先月29日までの1週間に熱中症で病院に運ばれた人は全国で4600人余りと、去年の同じ時期と比べて2倍以上になりました。
総務省消防庁によりますと、先月23日から29日までの1週間に熱中症で病院に運ばれた人は、全国で合わせて4665人でした。
前の週の8603人よりは少なくなっていますが、去年の同じ時期の2160人と比べて2倍以上になり、この時期としては多くなっています。
内訳は死亡が7人で、入院が必要な「重症」や「中等症」が1735人、入院の必要がない軽症が2870人などでした。
年齢別では
▽65歳以上の高齢者が2740人と全体の5割を超えたほか
▽18歳以上65歳未満が1451人
▽7歳以上18歳未満が441人
▽7歳未満が33人でした。
都道府県別では東京都が421人と最も多く、次いで大阪府の335人、埼玉県の269人などとなっています。
場所別では、住宅が1998人で全体の4割余りを占め最も多かったほか、道路が799人、駅のホームや駐車場など不特定の人が出入りする屋外が539人などとなっています。
これで、ことし5月1日から先月29日までの累計は1万8133人となり、前の年の同じ時期の9812人と比べて2倍近くになっています。
総務省消防庁は「西日本では各地で梅雨明けが発表されたが今後も暑い日が続く予想となっている。熱中症で亡くなった人はエアコンを使っていなかった場合が多いので、エアコンの使用をはじめ水分のこまめな補給など基本的な対策を徹底してほしい」と話しています。
