新型マクラーレン アルトゥーラは、まさに“ザ・スーパーカー”だ!!!
アップデートされた最新のマクラーレン「アルトゥーラ」を、小川フミオがテストドライブ。現代のスーパーカーらしい乗り味を、リポートする。

2025年のF1グランプリで好調ぶりを発揮しているマクラーレン・レーシング。
レースを観ていて、公道を走れるマクラーレンのスポーツカーに興味が出た人には、最新のアルトゥーラを勧めたい。
アルトゥーラは、2993ccV型6気筒ガソリンターボエンジンに、プラグインハイブリッドシステムを組み合わせた、ミドシップの二人乗りスポーツカー。
スムーズな加速と、スポーティな操縦性と、意外なほど快適な乗り心地という万能選手だ。
注目点は、上記のとおり、プラグインハイブリッドであることと、「MCLA」と名付けられた自社生産のカーボンファイバー製のセンターモノコックシャシーを持つ点だ。
新世代のマクラーレンスポーツカーとして、軽量とパワーともに追求している。
2025年モデルはパワーが上がり、システムトータルで、515kW（700ps）の最高出力と700Nmの最大トルクを発生。駆動用モーターは8段技やボックスに組み込まれ、後輪のみを駆動する。
加えて、電子制御のダンピングコントロールシステムの制御が見直され、感覚的には動きがよりしなやかになっている。
車重をなるべく軽く抑えるのは、スポーツカーにとって重要と、マクラーレンではアルトゥーラの駆動用バッテリーをなるべく小型化。容量は7.4kWhのものを1395kg車体に積む。
一充電走行距離は33kmなので、日常生活では使えるし、EVモード時に1395kgの車体を加速させるのには十分。エンジンが始動したときはターボチャージャーの働きもあり、静止から100km/hまでに要する時間は3.0秒だし、最高速は330km/hという。
