KDDIとNEC、純国産セキュリティ事業展開で合意「.jpを守る」
KDDIとNECは5月8日、サイバーセキュリティ事業における協業の検討を開始する基本合意書を締結した。純国産のセキュリティ基盤を共同で構築し、国内最大規模のサイバーセキュリティ事業を展開することを目指す。
国内では近年、地政学リスクの高まりにより、企業や政府機関に対するサイバー攻撃が増加。特にランサムウェア攻撃などの手法は巧妙化し、多くの企業が情報漏洩や業務停止など重大な影響を受けている。
日本国内では、経済安全保障推進法が成立し、基幹インフラ事業者に対してサイバー攻撃によるリスクを最小限に抑えることが要求されており、民間企業にもサイバー安全保障分野における対応能力の強化が必要とされてきている。
こうした社会的背景を踏まえ、両社の協業体制により国内全体のセキュリティレベルを向上する取り組みを展開する。
具体的には下記の2点を重点的に取り組む。
AI×インテリジェンス駆動型サイバーセキュリティの強化
官民で進んでいるサイバーセキュリティ強化の取り組みを支えるため、両社とその子会社が提供するサービスを通じて収集した膨大なサイバー脅威情報を、両社が保有する知見や自社開発のAI技術により分析。これにより脅威の検知・対処を行なう“インテリジェンス駆動型”のサイバーセキュリティ・サービスを強化していく。
セキュリティ監視運用体制構築など事業オペレーションの高度化
KDDIの子会社であるラックとNECは、シンガポールでの協業を通じて培ったグローバルな運用監視ノウハウに加え、KDDIが世界10カ国以上・45拠点以上で展開しているデータセンター事業「Telehouse」や、NECの政府向けのシステム運用に関する知見を活用。これら3社が協力してグローバルでのセキュリティ運用監視体制を構築する。日本企業やその海外拠点に対する国内外からのサイバー脅威への対応を高度化する。
KDDIとNECはそれぞれ企業向けのDX支援サービス「WAKONX(ワコンクロス」(KDDI)、「BluStellar(ブルーステラ)」(NEC)を通じて、構築したセキュリティ基盤を政府機関や法人向けに提供していく。
