アメックス、中小の“後継者難”対策でマッチングサービス
アメリカン・エキスプレス・インターナショナル(アメリカン・エキスプレス)は、中小企業経営者の課題解決に向けた新たな支援策として、事業承継やM&Aのマッチング機会を提供するサービスを開始した。
新サービスは、「American Express Business Matching Platform」上で開始される。同プラットフォームは主にビジネス・カード会員やコーポレート・プラチナ・カード会員向けのカード付帯サービスで、George P. Johnsonが提供・運営している。
事業の後継者を探したい経営者は、このプラットフォーム上で事業承継を案件として投稿することが可能。事業を引き継ぎたいと考える経営者は、投稿された事業承継の案件を確認し経営者同士でコミュニケーションを取れる。
アメリカン・エキスプレスのビジネス・カード会員、またはコーポレート・プラチナ・カード会員であれば、プラットフォーム上のマッチングの機会の確認を、カード年会費以外の費用を支払うことなく行なえる。
交渉に向けて事業承継にまつわるアドバイスを受けたい経営者は、プラットフォーム上で「日本的M&A推進財団」が認定する、複数の「第三者承継士」のサポートを受けられる。初期相談から条件を整理して案件化し、最終的に契約を締結するまでサポートされる。
これら売り手側の案件化や買い手側の支援に必要な費用、交渉の成功報酬は、アメリカン・エキスプレスのカードで支払える。交渉の成功報酬は、1億円以下の案件で300万円(税別、以下同)、1億円～10億円以下で3%、10億円超で1%。
国内の中小企業においては、後継者不足などで事業を承継できず、黒字であっても休業や廃業、解散を選ぶ企業が増加しており、課題になっている。
