ガーミン、アナログ針搭載「Instinct Crossover」にAMOLED版
ガーミンジャパンは、タフネスGPSウォッチ「Instinct」(インスティンクト)シリーズの新作として、ウォッチフェイスにアナログ時計の針を組み込んだハイブリッドモデル「Instinct Crossover」の新モデル「Instinct Crossover AMOLED」(インスティンクト クロスオーバー アモレッド)を10月2日に発売する。予約開始日は9月25日。価格は「Instinct Crossover AMOLED」が92,800円、「Instinct Crossover AMOLED Tactical」が107,800円。

ミリタリースペックの「Instinct」シリーズの中にあって、アナログ時計の(物理的に動く)針をフェイスに組み込んだユニークな「Instinct Crossover」の新作。ディスプレイ部分は高精細AMOLEDに進化、1.2型の390×390ピクセルで、視認性を強化したプレミアムモデルと位置づける。
AMOLED版では新たに、ベゼルがステンレススチール製に、風防はサファイアクリスタルになるなど、素材がバージョンアップ。ディスプレイサイズは1.2型に拡大された一方、厚みは約15mmに抑えられている。針やインデックスのデザインも変更されている。
SOSシグナル発光にも使用できるLEDフラッシュライトを内蔵。高精度な位置情報測位を実現するGNSSマルチバンドは、独自のSatIQ自動選択テクノロジーに対応した。ヘルスケア機能が拡充され、「お昼寝検出」「睡眠コーチ」などの睡眠モニタリング機能も搭載する。スポーツアクティビティは90種以上に増強され、ワークアウト動画も追加された。
ケースは強化繊維ポリマー製、バンドはシリコン製。稼働時間はスマートウォッチモードで約14日間、GPSモードで約29時間。内蔵バッテリーの充電はUSB Type-Cと接続できる専用のチャージングケーブル。防水性能は10気圧防水。通信機能はBluetooth、ANT+。位置測位はGPS/GLONASS/Galileo/みちびき(補完信号)に対応。Suica、Garmin Payを利用可能。
なお、「Instinct Crossover AMOLED Tactical」は、ステルスモード(通信機能の無効化)、暗視ゴーグルの互換性(LEDフラッシュライトを緑色に変更可能)、降下作戦を支援するジャンプマスター、データをリセットするキルスイッチ、位置情報表記を拡充したデュアルポジションフォーマットなどの、タクティカル機能を追加搭載するミリタリー仕様となる。
本体サイズはケース径が46.6mm、厚さが15.1mm。重量は67g。
