ChatGPT、ペアレンタルコントロールを導入へ 親子のアカウントを連携
OpenAIは2日(米国時間)、ChatGPTにペアレンタルコントロール機能を導入すると発表した。今後1カ月以内に導入予定で、10代の子を持つ親が、子供のChatGPT利用を管理・保護できるようにする。
ChatGPTは多くの「AIネイティブ」の若者に最も多く利用されており、「日常生活の一部」となっている。一方で、米国ではChatGPTが原因で自殺したとの訴訟が提起されたことも報じられており、AIによる若者の精神衛生への影響への懸念も生まれている。
こうした問題に対し、OpenAIは新たに親が子供のChatGPT利用を管理できる「ペアレンタルコントロール」の導入を決定。今後1カ月以内に導入する。
新たに、メール招待を通じて、親のアカウントを13歳以上の子供のアカウントとリンクできるようになるほか、年齢に応じた「モデル行動ルール」を導入。ChatGPTがティーンに返答する方法を制御する。この機能はデフォルトでONとされる。
また、メモリやチャット履歴など、無効化する機能を追加。さらに、システムがティーンの深刻な苦痛を検知した際に通知を受信できる機能も準備する。
これらの管理機能は、長時間利用時の休憩を促すリマインダーなどと同様に、全ユーザー向けに導入済みの機能に追加される。
あわせて、医療を含む専門家との連携を強化。ChatGPTにウェルビーイングとメンタルヘルスに関する専門知識を導入するため、専門家評議会とグローバル医師ネットワークと協力。ChatGPTへ反映させていく。
また、GPT-5-thinkingやo3などの推論モデルに、リアルタイムルーティング機能を導入。システムが深刻な苦痛の兆候を検知した場合などは、会話をGPT-5-thinkingなどの推論モデルへ自動的に転送することで、最初に選択されたモデルに関わらず、より有益な応答を提供する。この機能は近日実装予定。
