秋篠宮ご夫妻 陸上の世界選手権 開会式に出席
陸上の世界選手権の開会式が、秋篠宮ご夫妻も出席されて13日、国立競技場で開かれました。
34年ぶりに東京で開催される陸上の世界選手権は、13日から9日間の日程でおよそ200の国と地域から2000人ほどの選手が参加して行われます。
午後5時半すぎからはメイン会場の国立競技場で、秋篠宮ご夫妻も出席されて開会式が開かれました。
開会式では、世界陸連のセバスチャン・コー会長と東京都の小池知事があいさつしたあと、秋篠宮さまが「世界の多くの国と地域からお越しいただいたアスリートの皆様、そしてご来場の皆様を心より歓迎し、ここに、東京2025世界陸上競技選手権大会の開会を宣言いたします」と開会宣言をされました。
秋篠宮ご夫妻は開会式に続いて行われた男子3000メートル障害の予選などを観戦し、選手たちが目の前を駆け抜ける際には、まわりの観客とともに拍手を送られていました。
