Microsoft 365 Copilotにエージェントモード 資料作成・分析をAI自動化
Microsoftは29日(米国時間)、「Microsoft 365 Copilot」の新機能「Agent Mode」および「Office Agent」を発表した。いずれもAIと対話しながら作業を反復的に進める「バイブワーキング(Vibe working)」の実現が目的のAI機能で、Microsoft 365 Copilotライセンスを持つユーザーやMicrosoft 365 PersonalまたはFamilyサブスクライバー向けに、順次展開を開始している。

Agent Modeは、Officeアプリ内で複数工程のタスクを行ない、高品質なドキュメントやスプレッドシートを自動生成する機能。ExcelとWordから提供開始し、近日中にPowerPointにも対応する。
ExcelでのAgent Modeは、ネイティブに“話す”AIを備え、Excelの機能群とOpenAIの推論モデルを土台に高度なデータモデリングをサポートする。単なる出力にとどまらず、結果の評価や修正、検証を繰り返して精度を高めるため、専門家に任せつつ自分で舵取りするような感覚で分析を進められる。
たとえば、「売上データセットの完全な分析を実行し、意思決定に役立つインサイトを可視化してほしい」と指示すると、Copilotが適切な数式選定、新規シート作成、可視化まで自動で行ない、得られたインサイトと検証手順の概要も表示し、以降の改善にもつなげられる。
WordでのAgent Modeは、文書作成を会話しながら進める対話型の「バイブライティング」へと刷新する。たとえば、「最近の顧客フィードバックを要約し、主要トレンドを強調して」と指示すると、Copilotが下書きから改善提案、必要に応じた確認質問までを一貫してスムーズに実行する。
Office Agentは、Anthropicのモデルを搭載し、CopilotのチャットからPowerPointのプレゼンテーションやWord文書を会話ベースで生成できる機能。従来のAI機能では苦手としてきたスライド作成も、意図のすり合わせ(長さやビジュアルテーマ、重点領域、対象読者など)から、Web調査での情報収集とライブプレビューの提示、品質チェックを自動で行ない、すぐに共有できる完成度まで仕上げるという。
Microsoftでは、事業計画や退職貯蓄プラン作成、ソーシャルメディア動向などの調査の例を紹介している。
