渋谷公会堂隣に33階建マンション 隣接の小学校も再整備
東京都は、公園通り西地区市街地再開発組合の設立を認可した。地上33階・地下4階・高さ約140mの、住宅等で構成される施設が建設される。近隣に渋谷公会堂(LINE CUBE SHIBUYA)や渋谷区役所があるエリアで、隣接する渋谷区立神南小学校の再整備も計画されている。

施行地区は東京都渋谷区宇田川町および神南一丁目地内。施行区域の面積は約1.4ヘクタール。施設用途は住宅、事務所、店舗、サービス施設、多目的スペース、駐車場等。
老朽化したマンションの更新および神南小学校の再整備を通じて、災害時における地域住民のための安全な避難所を確保するとともに、帰宅困難者の一時滞在場所等を整備し、防災対応力の強化を図る。
また、バリアフリー化による渋谷区役所、渋谷公会堂、渋谷区立神南小学校、渋谷子育てネウボラ等の公共施設と周辺のまちの回遊性向上を図る。
そのほか、公益施設が集積した立地を活かし、多様な主体の活動・交流空間となる結節広場の整備、周辺公益施設との連携を図る機能の導入を推進し、エリアの一体性を強化する。
工事着手は2027年、建物竣工は2032年を予定している。
