NTT東、電話線・電柱損傷報告をAIが自動受付
NTT東日本は、電話線や電柱などの損傷について、生成AIが自動で通報を受け付ける仕組みを18日9時から導入する。

自然災害などにより電話線や電柱などの損傷は増加傾向にあるが、異常を発見したユーザーからの通報は重要な情報源の一つになっているという。しかし、災害時には通常の2倍以上の通報が発生することもあり、従来のオペレーターによる電話対応では窓口に繋がりにくくなってしまうという課題があった。
今回導入する自動受付システムは、113故障受付に寄せられる声のうち、約3割を占める不安全設備に関する通報が対象。通報者の自由発話に基づいて不安全設備に関する通報かどうかを分類し、AIが緊急性、設備の状態、設置場所などの必要な情報を追加で質問しながら、対応手配へとつなげる。これにより通報から対応までをスムーズに完結させることが可能になる。
今後は、AI技術の精度向上や対応範囲の拡大を図り、より多様な内容への対応を進め、災害時や緊急時におけるレジリエンス強化を行なっていく。
