秋葉原駅ナカに商業施設「エキュート」 25年春開業
JR東日本クロスステーション デベロップメントカンパニーは、JR秋葉原駅構内において、エキナカ商業施設「エキュート秋葉原」の2025年春の開業に向けた工事に着手する。約20店舗が出店予定。

エキュートは、首都圏のターミナル駅に展開している商業施設のブランド。エキュート秋葉原は16施設目となる。
JR秋葉原駅1階の中央改札・電気街改札間にて、約900m2のエリアを中心に一体的な商業施設として展開。食事や買い物、イベントなどを楽しめるエキナカ空間を目指す。
メインターゲットを秋葉原で乗り換えるオフィスワーカー、サブターゲットを秋葉原への趣味型ビジター・旅行者に設定した売場作りを計画。機能や目的、時間の有無で買いやすいゾーニングとするなど、時間帯や平日・休日を問わない、いくつものニーズにワンストップで応えるエキナカを展開するとしている。
