フィリピン“南シナ海の自国EEZ内 中国が違法な海洋調査”非難
フィリピン当局は、南シナ海の自国のEEZ＝排他的経済水域の内側で、中国の調査船が5日間にわたって違法な海洋調査を行ったと非難しました。当局は、「潜水艦の航行を支援するための深海の地図を作成している可能性もある」として、警戒を強めています。
フィリピンの沿岸警備隊は6日、記者会見を開き、中国の大型調査船が今月1日から5日夜にかけて、ルソン島の北西沖の南シナ海において、フィリピンのEEZ＝排他的経済水域の内側に入り、違法な海洋調査を行ったとして非難しました。
また、調査船の活動を撮影したとする映像を公開し、この中では水深4500メートルまで潜ることができるとされる潜水艇や、海面に浮かべていた機器を回収する様子などが写っています。
現場海域は、台湾南部に近く西太平洋へもつながる海上交通の要衝で、フィリピン沿岸警備隊のタリエラ報道官は、中国の調査船が「潜水艦の航行を支援するための深海の地図を作成している可能性もある」と指摘しました。
フィリピン当局は巡視船や航空機を派遣して、調査船にEEZの外に出るよう求めたほか、現場海域での監視や警戒を強めています。
