シチズン時計は、「The CITIZEN」（ザ・シチズン）の誕生30周年記念モデルを、世界限定300本で8月7日に発売する。
「ザ・シチズン」の誕生30周年を記念した限定モデルは、「叢雲（むらくも）絞り染め」技法で染めあげた藍染和紙を文字盤に使用。「叢雲絞り染め」とは、生地を圧縮してシワを作り出し、染めムラ模様を表現する伝統的な染色技法で、ランダムにしわを寄せた状態の和紙を藍染することで出来上がるため、文字盤の表情にはひとつとして同じものがないという。隔や強弱による藍の濃淡が織りなす美しい模様が、まるで空の雲を写し取ったかのような幻想的な印象を与える。
ケースはデュラテクト DLC を施したスーパーチタニウム製。艶のあるブラックカラーが土佐和紙の文字盤を引き立てる。組み合わされるブルーカラーのストラップは、LWG（レザーワーキンググループ） 認証を受けたタンナー（製革業者）によるワニ革を採用した。
ムーブメントは、年差±5秒という高精度を誇るソーラー発電「エコ・ドライブ」を搭載する。
文字盤、りゅうず、裏ぶたに配したイーグルマークは、「常に先を見据え、理想を追求する」「身に着ける方に永く寄り添う」という「ザ‧シチズン」の 2つの意思を表している。
