シチズン時計は、「The CITIZEN」（ザ・シチズン）の誕生30周年記念モデルを、世界限定550本で7月10日に発売する。
「ザ・シチズン」の誕生30周年を記念した限定モデルは、濃く深い藍である「勝⾊」（かちいろ）に染めた土佐和紙を文字盤に使用。勝色とは、藍染の中でも特に濃い⾊とされる日本の伝統⾊「褐⾊」（かちいろ）に縁起の良い文字をあてたもので、その響きから、武具や祝賀の品などに用いられてきた歴史をもつ。
特徴的な和紙ダイヤルは、藍染の伝統技法“天然灰汁発酵建て”（てんねんあくはっこうだて）で⼿染めしたもの。染料の発酵や染⾊の過程で深みと鮮やかさが生まれ、多層的な⾊調の表現に成功している。
ムーブメントはソーラー発電「エコ・ドライブ」の「Cal.A060」を搭載。精度は年差±5秒という高精度を誇る。さらに、2100年2月28日までうるう年などの月末カレンダー修正が不要なパーぺチュアルカレンダーを搭載。衝撃から針ズレを抑止する衝撃検知機能、針ズレを自動修正する針自動補正機能、0時ジャストカレンダー更新機能などを備える。
ケース・ブレスレットはデュラテクトプラチナが施されたスーパーチタニウム製。風防はクラリティ・コーティングのデュアル球面サファイアガラスを採用する。
文字盤、りゅうず、裏ぶたに配したイーグルマークは、「常に先を見据え、理想を追求する」「身に着ける方に永く寄り添う」という「ザ‧シチズン」の 2つの意思を表している。
